What you are looking at

Every photo on this page is an NXT Build job. The finished custom homes include one with dark vertical siding over a stone wainscot, one in white with a black metal roof, and a two-story house in Asbury with dormers across the front. There is a barndominium with a starburst pattern in the gable, a maroon pole barn standing in the snow, and a long metal-clad commercial building in the same color.

A few frames are mid-build on purpose. One house is still wrapped in Tyvek. Another has a roof deck of fresh OSB waiting on shingles. Those shots show the part of the job you never see in a finished curb photo.

When you look through any builder’s pictures, look past the hero shot. Check how the trim meets at the outside corners and whether the siding lines up across a gable. A job site that looks picked up during framing tells you a lot about the crew.

Ask where the photos came from, too. Plenty of contractor sites run stock pictures or images borrowed from somebody else’s work. If a builder can’t name the town a project sits in, keep asking. The captions here name the town or county for each build, and Collin will tell you more about any of them.
